About Us:
Dr. Hargis is a 1990 graduate of LC with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He attended LSUSD to earn his DDS degree. He then completed a 2-year residency in hospital dentistry at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. In 1997, Dr. Hargis moved back to Central Louisiana to begin practicing: He took over a clinic in Montgomery, Louisiana where he served this rural community for 11 years. In 1999, he opened his own private practice in Prospect,he has been the only continuously operating dental office in Grant Parish.

Patient Info
Before your first appointment, and once a year thereafter, you will need to complete/update your chart information. To save time, print it now, fill out and fax to us or bring with you to your appointment.
What to Expect
1st Visit - Come in 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. If you have dental insurance, we will contact the insurance company at this time to outline your benefits.
Procedures - Each dental procedure is explained and a written cost estimate is given to the patient before every treatment.
Cleanings - Twice a year you should have your teeth professionally cleaned. We will take full-mouth X-rays, clean, polish, floss and examine each of your teeth. The dentist will then re-examine your teeth and will perform a visual oral cancer screening of your tissues. A comprehensive written treatment plan-including pricing-is created to address all issues noted.

Payment Information:
Your check will be electronically processed at the time of service. Financing is available through Care Credit, with most applications receiving approval or denial within minutes. We accept credit cards and will soon be able to accept PayPal. Medicaid for adult dentures also accepted. Financing thru Care Credit. Doc Pay easy, affordable, payment options. No Interest.
